Our limited edition prints are printed and produced in New Zealand by photographic specialists who've been doing it for close on 40 years. We trust them because they know photography, they know colour and they care about the details.
Limited Editions
Every print is part of a limited edition, which is hand numbered and signed. The number of prints in a limited edition is determined by the size.
How it's printed
We send a large, high quality digital file to our printers and they reproduce the photograph using a special LED-exposure RGB press. We print onto a lustre-finish silver halide paper. The archival quality paper is optimised for professional colour printing with vivid colour reproduction, brilliant whites and excellent detail. Your photographic print is delivered flat or rolled. The print does not come framed. The thin white border shown on the print here will not necessarily appear on your ordered print.
A Photographic Print – Framed
We print your photo as a Photographic Print as detailed above then mount it in a 40mm white border, called a mat board. We frame the mounted print behind glass and finish it off with a modern black wooden frame.
Start with the best German canvas
Our photos are printed on premium German fine art canvas. It's 410gsm of the finest archival quality museum-grade goodness. It's 100% cotton and the colours will last 70 years.
Gallery-wrapped frame
The canvas gets wrapped on solid 40mm wooden stretcher bars. The frame is beveled towards the canvas so the wood bars can’t be noticed. The canvas is taped and strung ready for hanging.
Corners: Nice and neat
We like super neat, square edges and tidy corners. Some framers out there don't get his right. Our framers really strive to deliver this kind of attention to detail.
Mirrored side edges
We finish off the canvas sides using the mirrored edge method. This way none of the photographic scene gets lost. The canvas print is finished off with the latest UV and scratch resistant aqueous coating technology, which can be wiped with a damp cloth.
